L’oeuvre ici présenté est d’abord le fruit d’une commande : un chemin de croix. Le projet l’épouvante. Quelle poésie est encore possible dans la souffrance des souffrances ?
Le défi la force à approfondir sa quête de sens et sa contemplation. Le travail qui en résulte est d’une vivacité étonnante, alliant richesse scénographique et profondeur spirituelle.

Mais l’artiste ne s’arrête pas là . Se laissant porter par l’oeuvre elle-même, elle se prête jusqu’au bout à l’alchimie qui transforme le chemin de croix en chemin de foi : aux 14 stations de la Passion initialement prévues elle en adjoint 14 autres, qui déploient le mystère de la Résurrection. De la Via Crucis jaillit, irrépressible, une Via Lucis. Ces 28 tableaux et leur commentaire ouvrent une voie originale et lumineuse vers cette grande dramaturgie de la foi chrétienne qui rejoint les questions fondamentales de notre humanité . Parce que les ténèbres n’auront pas le dernier mot.
