• Compound Greek words are divided by a •to help with identification and memorization
• To establish links between more than two Greek words, other related words are listed in parentheses
• Words transcribed or borrowed from Persian, Aramaic or Latin are indicated
• For each entry, as far as possible and to broaden the meaning, several meanings are given in French
• When there are only one or two occurrences of a word, the reference(s) are put [ ]. When all references are listed between ( ), a * indicates this.
