Sport in the image of faith

The fight for perseverance

Joël Abati - Émile Nicole

Sport in the image of faith. The fight for perseverance is a plunge into the deep end of the joy of effort. To persevere in faith, with assiduity and fidelity as an athlete is in training, is to experience the spiritual experience of a walk that is sometimes intense, sometimes slow, where the gold medal does not reward the finish but the course. After all, wouldn't the victory of faith be a marathon rather than a sprint? By browsing these pages, take part in a long-term but very beneficial race, under the aegis of the best trainer there is: God.

Full of nuances, 2 gazes meet, 2 voices are heard to explore the fertility of ancient texts. This small format deploys a plural reading. Each author takes us on a journey to encounter the biblical text, up-to-date ideas and a personal and sincere journey.
